Pettson and Findus is a series of children's books, written by Sven Nordqvist and started in 1984. They have been popular among children and adults for over 40 years and have become part of Swedish culture as the stories about the old man Pettson and his cat Findus.

sometimes Findus doesn't just eat pancake cake & pancakes, it's useful with vegetable soup, at least that's what Pettson says!
